In recent years, many clients and owners of traffic means reflect process of vehicle inspection at inspection stations.

Vehicles are under inspection.
In order to make clear regulations of vehicle inspection, Binh Duong Newspaper had an interview with Lam Son Ha, director of Center of Vehicle Inspection 61.01S under the provincial Transport Department.
In recent days, we see overload at the vehicle inspection center. Could you tell reason of the overload?
Till early Nov. 2014, the center received and implemented inspection for more than 25,400 various vehicles; granted inspection stamps to over 18,810 vehicles, winning rate of 70%. Most of vehicles did not meet requirements, owing to unguaranteed equipments such as brake, frame, seats, light and so on.
In the past May, June and July, the center suffered an overload, because other vehicle inspection center was suspended its operation. Therefore, all vehicles were brought to the center for inspection. Now, the center returns ordinary operation with about 85 vehicles per day.
Many vehicle owners complained about process of vehicle inspection. Could you tell about this?
Based on the Circular No.56 enacted from April, 1, 2013, vehicles must keep original models of producers without change of patterns of vehicles. Since June 15, 2014, vehicles must meet requirements of being granted inspection cards instead of inspection books. Inspection cards are printed image of vehicles while traffic policemen will base the image to inspect and fine as stipulated in a bid to minimize change of vehicle models and overload transport and more.
Producers’ original models of vehicles must be ensured in a bid to assure safety for traffic participants. Overload transport will destroy roads, so the Circular No.10/2014 stipulates that vehicles’ weighing must be ensured as registered to prevent overload and risks of traffic accident.
What advices will you give for clients of inspection stations?
First, vehicle owners must check constantly to find timely out errors of technique and operation. Besides, vehicle users should directly bring their vehicles to the inspection stations without mediators.
