On Dec 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a regular press conference to provide information on the socio-economic situation in 2022. Nguyen Thi Duong, Office Chief of the Provincial People's Committee; and Le Tuan Anh, Director of the Provincial Department of Information and Communications, chaired the press conference.
At the press conference, the Office of Provincial People's Committee informed that in 2022, Binh Duong has completed 29/34 socio-economic development targets. In particular, the province pays attention to and ensure social security, supports those affected by the pandemic and creates jobs for workers. The province continued to be concerned with vocational training and labor market development; activities of labor supply - demand connecting, consulting, job introduction, and support for workers were enhanced. It is estimated that in the year, the province created more jobs for 35,000 people, reaching 100% of the plan. The Covid-19 pandemic, dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease were controlled.
At the press conference, news agencies mentioned groups of issues, such as: social security policies to attract workers back to Binh Duong when the economy is recovering; investment attraction plan; progress of making citizen identification; solutions to support businesses and employees; the roadmap to relocate some polluting companies... Representatives of departments and branches answered questions of the media. Regarding information about the procurement of 421 cameras, Nguyen Minh Than, Deputy Chief of Advisory Department of the Provincial Public Security, said: this is an initial survey, has not yet approved, is not an official.
However, this is a security camera project for smart city management that was assigned to the Provincial Public Security. In addition to cameras, there will be other technical infrastructures. If the total cost is divided equally by the number of cameras, it is incorrect, because the project is a renovation system, including: Operational monitoring center, storage center, clear quality transmission line systems to serve as evidence to handle violations.
Nguyen Tam Duong applauded the press agencies inside and outside the province for doing well in information dissemination work, contributing to the construction and development of the province more and more sustainably.
