In 2025, Biwase sets a target of VND 1.2 trillion in total profit

In 2025, Joint Stock Company - Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation (Biwase) sets a revenue target of VND 2,92 trillion after-tax profit of over VND 520 billion. Biwase and its subsidiaries achieved VND 5,220 billion in revenue and over VND 680 billion in profit, increasing the total capacity of factories to 970,000m3/day; commercial water reached VND220 million m3. Biwase strives to connect water supply to 20,000 more customers. The company’s water loss rate decreased by 4.8%; dividend reached 13%...

Nguyen Ven Thien, CEO of Biwase stated that in 2024, the company set a total revenue target of VND 4,100 billion, but exceeded expectations with VND 4,300 billion. However, the company's profit did not meet the plan of VND 700 billion, only reaching VND 570 billion, due to exchange rate fluctuations related to some investment expenditures for projects to increase waste treatment capacity, increase water supply capacity.... Mr. Thien also highlighted that with a US$30 million loan from DEG—the largest development finance institution in Europe under Germany’s KfW Development Bank—Biwase is committed to using the funds efficiently, particularly to expand clean water access to rural areas in Binh Duong province.

Currently, Binh Duong has an urbanization rate of 85%, with 95% of the province's population having access to clean water. Biwase is investing in and expanding its network to bring clean water to rural areas, striving to achieve 100% clean water coverage for the rural population in the near future.
