At the reception, Mr.Rafiv Bodwade affirmed the fine friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and India. According to the latest statistics, the total bilateral trade between Vietnam and India in 2017 reached more than US$10billion, up nearly 30% compared to 2016 and is likely to achieve US$15billion in 2020. Along successful industries of mining, sugar cane, petroleum exploitation in Vietnam, Indian businesses also realized cooperation potential in others like agricultural production, pharmaceuticals…
Mr.Liem said that Binh Duong has so far absorbed around US$28billion in FDI capital, ranking second nationwide in FDI attraction only after HCM city. The whole province now has 5 Indian businesses in industries of spice, agriculture, electricity and garment with a total investment capital of around US$170million.
He added that the province has continued calling for investment in hi-tech and environmentally friendly industries; always created favorable conditions for businesses to seek investment opportunities and opportunely death with their queries in the process of business and production. He also wanted that members of the delegation will introduce the local investment climate to Indian businesses.
