Under the local overall plan on socio-economic development, industrial manufacture will be moved to the northern region of the province. Meanwhile, the province will promote urban development in the southern region under the “compression urban” model. The province’s industrial development will bring about urban, trade-service development in the northern region.

At a conference on the linkage of the southern key economic zone, experts affirmed that the province’s industrial compound development will create favorable conditions for the local sustainable industrial development, promoting auxiliary industries, improving competitiveness of enterprises participating in the supply chain of compounds of industrial sectors.
Ho Van Binh, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Industry and Trade said that over the past time, the number of enterprises in industrial manufacture during the 2011-2018 period increased by 9.5%. The province also focused on removing enterprises, mainly small and medium-sized ones outside industrial parks, compounds. This has required the province to make supplementary planning for industrial parks, compounds at the local demand of “land fund” for industrial development.
