Not only recovering quickly after the heavy impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic, the province’s industrial production has also maintained impressive growth in the first months of 2022. This shows that support policies to help the industry recover have come into life, bringing into full play their effectiveness while showing the efforts by the local business community in overcoming difficulties and seizing opportunities for development.
According to a recent report, in the first 4 months of 2022, the province's index of industrial production continued maintaining at a relatively high growth rate of 7.5% over the same period. In April alone, this index grew at 7.3% and 11.1% compared to March and the same period last year. This helps the industry to ensure its leading role in economy and is also an important condition for the province's industrial manufacture to continue getting stronger development in the coming time. Notably, while maintaining a high growth rate, the province’s industrial structure is also undergoing positive changes when the proportion of processing and manufacturing industry is increasing amid the local efforts in innovating growth models.
The positive growth momentum of the industrial manufacturing in the first months of the year will ensure that the local economy maintains its growth in 2022. However, in the current context, digital transformation has been identified as a development spearhead. Accordingly, enterprises also need to set up a development strategy in line with the new situation towards accelerating restructuring and applying digital science and technology to the production and business process. This not only helps the province's industrial manufacturing sector continue undergoing its strong shift in structure towards the increase of processing, manufacturing, support and high-tech industries as well as sustainable development.
