Industrial park occupation rate at 91.45%

According to Binh Duong provincial Industrial Park Management Board, to date the total area of industrial land leased in industrial parks is 103,069 square meters, and 45,160 square meters of factories are subleased. Cumulatively to date, industrial parks have leased 6,959.7 hectares of industrial land, with an occupancy rate of 91.45%.

To date, the total number of industrial parks planned in the province is 33 with a total planning area of 14,790 hectares. Among them, the provincial Industrial Park Management Board continues to be assigned to manage 29 industrial parks with a total planned area of 12,662.81 hectares; of which 28 industrial parks have been put into operation on a total area of 11,962.81 hectares, 1 industrial park (Cay Truong Industrial Park) is carrying out infrastructure investment procedures  with a total area of 700 hectares.

Binh Duong is planning the province for the 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 expectedly to continue new investment and expansion of existing industrial parks but towards higher standards of science, technology, and protection of environment, focusing on attracting industries that bring high added value and meet the increasingly strict standards of international investors.
