According to the Binh Duong provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, thanks to "safe adaptation, flexibility, and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic", industrial parks in the province have developed appropriate economic recovery plans. Currently, production and business activities in industrial parks are stable and growing.
Accordingly, the Management Board of Industrial Parks continues to carry out investment procedures in the planned industrial parks. Despite being affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, the total investment in infrastructure construction in industrial parks in 2021 will still reach VND 5,698 billion; sublease land of a total area of 160 hectares attracting foreign investment of USD 1.9 billion and VND 3,587 billion of domestic investment capital. Enterprises in the industrial parks have disbursed more than USD 2 billion as their revenue has reached USD 35.1 billion and export USD 20.9 billion.
Currently, provincial industrial parks are on to effectively prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic to safely and flexibly adapt and quickly restore production to contribute to the province's socio-economic development with focus on removing difficulties for businesses and employees right after the Lunar New Year holiday to quickly resume production.
