According to Provincial People's Committee, the Industrial Production Index (IIP) is projected to rise by 20.67% in February 2025. The cumulative increase for the first two months of the year is estimated to be 6.7% compared to the same period in 2024. Specifically, the processing and manufacturing sector saw an increase of 6.8%. production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 3.9%; mining increased by 19.7%.

In 2025, Binh Duong is committed to promoting industry as a key driver of growth, aiming for a 12% increase in its industrial production index (IIP). Currently, many of the province's key industrial sectors, including wood processing, machinery and equipment, footwear, and textiles, are experiencing an increase in new export orders. As a result, businesses are hiring more workers. This trend is a positive sign, contributing to the stable development of industrial production activities in the province.
