According to Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, amidst the pandemic outbreak and developments, enterprises faced many difficulties to arrange and re-organize production activities, but the industrial production index in 2021 (IIP) is estimated to increase by 4.5% over the same period last year. Notably, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 5.3%, the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 2.8% over the same period last year. Not only the high added value, the processing and manufacturing industry continues to be the leading industry in attracting investment capital in the province.
