At the 2023 "Binh Duong innovation in production” forum, there were many opinions to discuss and exchange experience to build existing factories into the smart ones, helping enterprises, authorities shape development directions on the basis of digitalization and technology.

Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, Director of the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BD) affirmed that she has made all efforts to connect with smart manufacturing organizations from South Korea, Japan, Thailand, the Netherlands ... with the desire of bringing experience from advanced manufacturing countries to small and medium-sized enterprises of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular.

In fact, over the past years, Binh Duong was always interested in supporting the development of enterprises. The province focused on improving the investment environment, enhancing competitiveness, applying sci-tech advancements and simplifying administrative procedures, training human resources, building social housing projects, supplying labor resources for enterprises investing in the province.
As of now, Binh Duong has been evaluated as one of the country’s leading localities in socio-economic development, industrial development and FDI attraction. This is the driving force for Binh Duong to continue accompanying the industrial business ecosystem, promoting development under the province's strategic innovation programs. Binh Duong has been developing into a leading industrial capital of the country.

We have implemented strategic programs in line with the goals of sustainable development; promoted a strong focus on strategic orientations on sustainable development, innovation, extensive application of technology - digitization, on the basis of taking the community as the center, taking smart connection as the development motto; using clean energy, renewable energy, promoting the application of technology in production, developing industry 4.0, creating a greener - cleaner living environment, thereby creating a premise for attracting technology enterprises and high-quality human resources”, affirmed Giang Quoc Dung, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC.
Thorough preparation for new stage
Dr. Pham Tuan Anh, Director of Binh Duong Smart City Office said that in the near future, Binh Duong and Becamex IDC will drastically transform in many fields, especially industrial manufacture towards sustainability. The seminar combined with discussion sessions with leading experts is really a highlight for planning in the new development phase.
Talking to us, Park Han Ku, Chairman of Korean Industry 4.0 Association said: “We come here to share a lot of information about production technology as well as solutions for smart factory development, which is applied in practice in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. South Korea has also taken similar steps with Vietnam in the past few decades and we hope to share our experience from the realities of our country, especially knowledge, solutions and bring many perspectives on innovation in the field of manufacturing”.
After the forum, Huynh Dinh Thai Linh hoped that South Korean and Thai associations, corporations and enterprises will further pay many working visits to Binh Duong, enterprises and partners of the province, strengthening connection, exchange and technology transfer activities. The WTCBD will make efforts to bring the values set by the parties.
Tran Trong Tuyen, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology expressed that through the forum, experts will enthusiastically share their experience. The province has always encouraged and created conditions for enterprises to cooperate with international partners to promote innovation and growth in the local manufacturing industry to serve the goal of accelerating the restructuring of digital economy in the direction of increasing the proportion of industrial manufacture - high-quality services, increasing the contribution of science, technology and innovation.
