The Market Management Bureau of Binh Duong province informed that in May, the market management teams in the province had strengthened inspection, control and strict handle of violations in commercial activities. Accordingly, the bureau has inspected 91 cases and handled 47 violations in the fields of trading in contraband goods, counterfeit goods of poor quality, goods without invoices and documents, etc. The bureau has collected and paid VND 379 million to the state budget and confiscated nearly 930 packs of smuggled cigarettes of all kinds including a number of products in the food industry, cosmetics, milk powder, electronic goods, hairdressing accessories and so on. The total value of the confiscated goods has been over VND 85 million.
In order to effectively prevent the violations, in the coming time, the provincial Bureau of Market Management will direct the Management Teams of districts, cities and towns to focus on implementing regular inspection plans for gasoline products, oil, gas, and foods.
