On Sept. 19, an inspection delegation of the provincial Committee for Economics and Budget paid a working session with the provincial department of Trade and Industry on results of implementing the work on preventing and fighting smuggling and trade fraud in the province.
The delegation set out 3 key issues at the working session. They included complication of fake and poor quality products and trade fraud, inspection, problems of management and settlement of violation cases and so on.
Over the past years, the local trade and industry sector in cooperation with other functional agencies holds disseminations and inspections and settlements of violation cases relating trade fraud. At present, violation cases of trade fraud become more complicated.
Concluding the working session, Tran Thi Kim Van, vice chairwoman of the provincial People's Council cum head of the provincial Committee for Economics and Budget noted that the provincial department of Trade and Industry should strengthen inspections to timely solve violation cases and simultaneously petition 8 measures to improve efficiency of the State management and operational efficiency of market control force in the coming time.
