International conference on Southeastern Region outlook hosted by TDMU

In the morning of December 16, Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU) coordinated with the Vietnam Academy for Agricultural Sciences (VAAS) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to organize the 3rd international conference on the Southeastern Region outlook 2022.

This year’s conference themed ‘cities and smart urban agriculture in the Southeastern Region’ is attended by domestically and internationally prestigious scientists and educational institutions. The conference revolves in 3 groups of topical discussions mainly on general issues of cities and urban agriculture, science ant technology in developing smart urban agriculture, reality and challenges of smart urban agriculture development in the Southeastern Region.

Doctor Ngo Hong Diep – Vice President of TDMU, said that TDMU was honorable to host an international conference along with USM – a greatly experienced institution of researches and training on urbanity and smart urban agriculture. The conference was expected to be an academic forum on the Southeastern Region for scientists to experience their ideas, especially the absorbance of knowledge and training of reseach capabilities as well as introduction of international journals.
