International Techmart Vietnam 2012 will take place in Hanoi from September 20-23, according to the press briefing on September 12.
The event will be
co-organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the ASEAN Committee for
Science and Technology, Hanoi Municipal People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City
People's Committee.
Addressing the press conference, Director General of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information Ta Ba Hung said Techmart 2012 will create a bridge for closer cooperation between scientists and producers in improving technology and competitiveness in the process of international economic integration and sustainable development.
The fair is expected to attract 520 booths from 479 domestic and foreign enterprises.
More than 300 new technologies in the field of mechanics, manufacturing, electronics, electrics, chemical substance, materials, and health care will be on display.
There will also be a series of seminars on food and energy security, clean technology and intellectual property during the event.
The Techmart Vietnam ASEAN+3 in Hanoi in 2009 attracted 651 organisations and delivered an estimated 2,000 contracts worth VND1,700 billion to local industries.
