With results in the past 10 months of this year, the provincial FDI attraction and export in 2011 will reach a good growth and proposed plan.
In the past 10 months of this year, difficulties of price hike, high interest rate… impacted on prices of products. Therefore, to stabilize production and business, many local businesses have re-arranged their operation to save costs and uphold efficiency of every department as well as develop new items with high values.

The typical businesses include Binh Duong Garment One-member Company Limited, Phuong Van Anh furniture company, Omron Healthcare Company Limited, Phil Inter Pharma Company Limited, Eins Vina Company Limited…From the above effective measures, Binh Duong province’s export in the past 10 months reached US$8,019.7mil, a 19.4% increase from 2010. Notably, in the past 10 months local farm produce items reaped remarkable results of US$303mil in rubber, $105mil in pepper, $30.5mil in coffee… In addition, items with high brain content and competition also won good results including $216mil in electronics, $165mil in plastic product, $50.5mil in bike and component…
Along with the remarkable results, over the past 10 months local FDI attraction showed encouraging results. The province obtained $822mil in FDI attraction. Accordingly, 70 new projects were granted licenses with the total investment capital of $389.6mil and 103 businesses registered to add $432.5mil in capital.
The above achievements are thanks to leadership and instruction from the provincial People’s Council and Committee. The results are considered as a belief for launching the remaining plans in 2011 and creating premise for 2012’s goals.
