Since early this year, Binh Duong province has absorbed more than VND1.4bln in FDI capital, exceeding this year’s plan. Thanks to its favorable investment climate plus potentials and advantages, especially perfection on urban infrastructure to become a centrally-controlled municipality by 2020, Binh Duong has become attractive in the eyes of foreign investors.

According to a future-oriented planning, Binh Duong will be upgraded to become one of the centrally-controlled municipalities in Vietnam by 2020. Therefore,
to ensure development in accordance with the approved master
plan, Binh Duong New City of 1,000 ha is built to become a modern, civilized
center district of Binh Duong in the future. 
Potential for trade-services development in the urban area named “Dong Do Dai Pho”
Binh Duong New City has continued welcoming residents. Till now, its main works, including a Lucky Square convention center, a multi-functional sports center, supermarkets, international schools… have been completed and come into operation. The political and administrative center for the province herein is expected for completion by 2014.
Like HCM city’s district 1, Binh Duong New City will get animated with many trade-services activities to serve more than 125,000 inhabitants and more than 400,000 people who will work herein.
