It is expected that the project to build a road along Saigon River from National Highway 13, near Vinh Binh canal to Vinh Phu 40 road will have a total investment of about 4,592 billion VND, with a cross-section of 32m. The Ong Bo Bridge downstream drainage system project, Binh Duong Avenue section from Ong Bo Bridge to Vinh Binh Bridge has a total length of 4,623m, a total investment of 1,946, the project ensures the drainage demand of rainwater and treated wastewater for the 2,361 ha basin, contributing to preventing flooding due to high tides and limiting flooding due to flood discharge from Dau Tieng reservoir, combined with urban upgrading.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh emphasized that the Saigon River Road Project, section through Thuan An City to Thu Dau Mot City, with a total length of about 15km, is a key project and construction of the province. It is necessary to focus on completing procedures to soon start construction, in which the section from An Son Port to Ba Lua Port is a key section, related to connecting many traffic routes, Ring Road 3; Vinh Phu 32 Road Project connecting the East-West traffic axis is also a key project that needs to be completed soon to approve the investment policy.
The Chairman of Provincial People's Committee instructed Thu Dau Mot City to prioritize the completion of the investment policy report for the Saigon River Road Project, the section from the border of Thuan An City to Tan An Ward, in order to have the report considered, approved, and implemented as soon as possible.
