Project Management Office of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) has just collaborated with Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) to organize the acceptance test for putting into operation the 110kV Kien Dien substation in Ben Cat city. The 110kV Kien Dien substation has a capacity of 1x63 MVA, invested and constructed in Binh Duong Riverside International Industrial Park, An Dien ward. After the power is connected, the 110kV Kien Dien substation will contribute to reducing the load for the operating 110kV substations that are operating at full capacity in the An Tay, Thoi Hoa (Ben Cat city), Go Dau (Thu Dau Mot city) areas. At the same time, the substation will contribute to ensuring stable power supply, improving the quality of electricity for customers in Ben Cat city and Thu Dau Mot city.
Before that, EVNSPC coordinated with PCBD to organize the power connection ceremony to put into operation the 110kV My Hoa substation (My Phuoc Industrial Park) and the connecting line to Ben Cat City. The project serves the electricity needs of My Phuoc Industrial Parks 1, 2, 3 continuously, stably serving the production and business activities of enterprises. The efficient exploitation of the 110kV My Hoa substation contributes to reducing the load on the lines and providing neighboring substations, reducing the radius of power supply for important industrial zones, creating connections between 110/22kV substations in the area, while enhancing the reliability and safety of electricity supply for consumers in Ben Cat city.
