The event was attended by Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Peter Porthenie and Joost Helms, members of Binh Duong Smart City Executive Board and leaders of departments and agencies in the province.
At the meeting, Mr. Peter Porthenie proposed orientations for the program implementing the Binh Duong Smart City Project for the period of 2021-2026. Provincial Department of Home Affairs advised provincial People's Committee on the effective implementation of the administrative reform plan for the period 2021-2025 and 2022. Concluding the meeting, provincial Party Committee Secretary requested that in 2022, the local digital transformation in administrative procedures must reach 30% and this task will be completed throughout the province in 2023 and 2024. He also suggested relevant units to quickly bring the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) to grassroots. In 2022, 3 cities and 2 towns of the province must complete the establishment of the IOCs. The remaining localities will complete this task in 2023. Regarding administrative procedure reform, he emphasized that digital government is the leading, so localities must prioritize the implementation of digital government.
