On the afternoon of June 27, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation received Ono Masuo, the new Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh city. Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments and sectors of the province also attended the reception.
Mr. Loi expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Ono Masuo and his delegation when Vietnam and Japan are looking forward to the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and informed the delegation of the local economic development and infrastructure facilities... He spoke highly of contributions by the Japanese business community in Binh Duong and affirmed that the province has always considered foreign enterprises as contributors to the local development. He also thanked the Japanese Government for supporting capital, helping Binh Duong province a lot in the development of projects on water supply, drainage and the environment...He wanted that Binh Duong province will continue getting more favorable access to ODA capital for public traffic infrastructure improvement projects...
Mr. Ono Masuo would like to express his sincere thanks to the fine sentiments, respectful and warm welcome of provincial Party Committee Secretary and leaders for the delegation. He said that Japanese enterprises have always spoken highly of Binh Duong’s investment environment and always considered Binh Duong as one of Vietnam’s attractive investment destinations. Currently, there are 300 Japanese enterprises operating in Binh Duong province. Mr. Ono Masuo hopes that Binh Duong will further create the best conditions for Japanese enterprises operating here.
