Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung, on June 11, had a working session with a business delegation from Japanese Business Association in HCM city.
At the reception, Mr.Cung applauded the delegation’s visit and congratulated Mr. Mitsuhiro Mori, the new chairman of the HCM city-based Japanese Business Association. He also spoke highly of Japanese businesses’ investment projects in Binh Duong over the past time, especially the Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City project with a total investment capital of US$1.2bln.
The leader added that Binh Duong New City now has many potential fields to absorb foreign investors, including Japanese investors.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Mitsuhiro Mori expressed his thanks to Binh Duong’s leaders and spoke highly of their attention and help to Japanese investors over the past time, helping strengthen ties between the two countries.
2013 is the year Vietnam and Japan will mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Hence, he hoped that his association and Binh Duong would organize activities to celebrate this event.
