On Nov. 4, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee paid a working session with Mr.Kikuchi Tadashi, expert of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to discuss improvement of business and investment environment in the Southern provinces between JICA and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
At the working session, Mr.Kikuchi Tadashi introduced local leaders to Japan Desk, a service to assist current and potential Japanese investors in Vietnam at the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA).
Specifically, the Japan Desk in the south of Vietnam will have a website in Vietnamese and Japanese so Japanese firms can get updated information on Vietnam’s business environment and regulations. Firms can also email in their proposals and suggestions, which the service will then forward to Vietnamese authorities to serve in the making of policies that promote Japanese investment in Vietnam.
From now till Sept. 2015, Kikuchi Tadashi will work in Binh Duong to help Japanese enterprises learn well about the provincial investment environment.
Through this working session, Tran Thanh Liem highly appreciated the Japan Desk’s mission and applauded Kikuchi Tadashi’s support.
In return, Binh Duong provincial administration will facilitate Kikuchi Tadashi’s mission completion in the coming time, helping many Japanese enterprises learn more about the provincial investment environment.
