The program
“Joining hands for the community” is being launched by provincial Young
Entrepreneurs Association to bring “small springs” to the poor, lonely elderly,
policy beneficiary families, workers living away from home…on the days near the
Tet (lunar New Year) festival 2013. Although gifts from the program are small,
they bear a great significance expressing the local young entrepreneurs’
responsibility to the community in the current difficult economic situation.
The Di An branch of provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association presenting Tet gifts to the poor
The Di An town’s branch of provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association has just organized a charity music night with many significant activities. Especially, 300 Tet gifts worth VND100mln each were presented to poor people and workers living away from home with a total expense of VND100mln. Although not being big, these gifts contributed to warming the heart of poor people and workers living away from home.
Hoang Le Chi, Vice-Chairwoman of Di An town’s People’s Committee said despite difficulties last year, young entrepreneurs have managed to express their responsibility to the society by launching a program “Joining hands for the community” with Tet gifts for poor people and workers. This is seen as a very significant action of the local young business community.
Whilst, Nguyen Thanh Phong, Vice-Chairman of provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association also had the same thought with Mrs.Chi. He added that the above program has expressed the young business community’s responsibility to the society that is worthy of being respected. This is one of criteria set out by provincial Young Entrepreneurs and it will be further upheld in the 2012 and 2015 tenure.
Also according to him, this is the first program for the sake of the community launched by provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association in 2013. The association will further launch many such significant programs in the coming time. During the Tet festival 2013, the association will coordinate with the local authorities to organize the program “Joining hands for the community” in Di An town, TDM city…The association’s branches will also implement the program with the goal of offering Tet to the poor and workers who are unable to go home for Tet.
Mr.Phong added: “Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association will further speed up many social charity programs on lighting up talents, building houses of compassion…with total expense that will be funded by members and other donors…”.
On the occasion of the Tet festival 2013, Di An town has teamed up with provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, provincial Red Cross Society and charity groups to mobilize and present 4,000 Tet gifts to poor people and workers living away from home. This effort aims to offer Tet to everyone.
