Joy on advanced new-style rural homeland

So far, Dinh Thanh commune in Dau Tieng district has fulfilled all 19 criteria of the advanced new-style rural program under the province’s Decision No.1925.

Changes

Dinh Thanh commune was established in 2003 with a total natural area of more than 5,643 hectares and more than 3,500 people. Over the past time, the town’s Party and government focused on economic development by many concrete actions, including fully tapping advantages in terms of land, water resource. The commune also step by step made the shift of plant structure with hi-economic value; encouraged farmers to develop new economic models, bring nurslings with hi-economic value into production.

As of now, the whole commune has had a total of 1,287 rubber trees under exploitation, nearly 33,000 heads of poultry and cattle, 7 companies in operation, 91 small trading facilities and 3 agricultural production households with hi-tech application. There are also many models with hi-economic efficiency. They comprise of Dinh Thanh Trading-Services Cooperative, the modes of breeding swallows, cows, buffaloes…

Upon this, the commune’s economic growth was maintained. The average income per capita of the local people last year was VND60.9million, beyond 1.5% of the set target. The rate of laborers with regular jobs herein was more than 95% while the rate of poor households under the province’s poverty line reduced to 0.42%...

Building up model new-style rural commune

With stable economy, Dinh Thanh commune has attached special importance to building its new-style rural infrastructure facilities. The commune has mobilized all resources for construction of rural roads.

The commune’s infrastructure system has been improved considerably with inter-communal streets, alleys upgraded  together with spacious houses. Cultural-art clubs have also regularly organized their activities at the communal Cultural Center, contributing to improving the spiritual life of locals.

Along with economic development, infrastructure construction, the commune has paid more attention to environmental hygiene, making the local paths spacious, clean and nice.

As of now, Dinh Thanh has been Dau Tieng district’s third commune fulfilling all 19 criteria of the advanced new-style rural construction program. Nguyen Viet Hung, Head of Suoi Sau hamlet’s Fatherland Front Committee said: “We are very excited when the commune has reached criteria of the advanced new-style rural construction program. We are also very excited because their lives have had many changes compared to the previous period”.

The above result is seen as a motivation for the local Party, government and people to continue developing the locality into a model new-style rural commune, contributing to building up a more and more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
