According to assessment of international economic organizations, in 2023 the world will face many challenges, economic growth slows down or falls deeply, even negative growth. The World Bank warns some countries are of high inflation and increasing interest rates. Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund said that European countries are in a "very fragile" stage... Faced with that situation, right from the beginning of the new year 2023, the Government and domestic localities have deployed drastic measures to maintain economic growth momentum.
Faced with the disruption of traditional economic chains and commercial markets due to the common difficulties of the global economy, in order to complete goals and tasks of 2023, right from the beginning of the year, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee set out 11 task groups and key solutions to complete 32 key targets in 2023. To fulfill the set targets, Provincial People's Committee requires leaders of districts, towns, cities and departments, and branches to maintain the spirit, confidently overcome difficulties, actively adapt and innovate in the task performance.
To implement the direction of Provincial People's Committee, from the beginning of the year, leaders of districts, towns, cities, and departments, branches in the province have drastically implemented solutions to recover the economy and promote development. One of the solutions that are focused by localities and units is to continue promoting administrative procedure reform, improving the investment and business environment. Accelerating administrative reform is done with concrete actions. The proof is that right after the 2023 Lunar New Year holidays, all localities and units started working immediately to handle dossiers at the request of people and businesses. Backlogs during the Tet holidays were promptly resolved to create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to boost production and business.
Along with administrative reform, public investment has also been enhanced by localities and units from the beginning of the year. Determining that public investment capital, if deployed quickly, will promote economic development, leaders of the province and localities have drastically reviewed projects that have been and are being executed; at the same time solved difficulties to speed up the process of site clearance and implementation of new projects. Many key projects, such as National Highway 13, North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang route, are being accelerated by contractors, thereby accelerating the disbursement and bringing capital to the market to promote development.
The good news is that overcoming the year 2022 of many challenges, businesses located in the province are entering 2023 with more prosperity. While in 2022 many businesses faced difficulties and had to let their workers quit, in 2023, more orders have been signed, ensuring jobs for workers. Many businesses have signed orders until the middle of 2023 and are recruiting more workers. This shows that the market is busy again, the supply chain gradually backs on track like before the pandemic.
Difficulties are present, but with the efforts to overcome difficulties and with the responsible community, Binh Duong province is believed to complete targets and tasks set out in the year.
