In An Son Commune, Thuan An Town, Center for Research and Development of Sustainable Agriculture has held a seminar and granted VietGAP certification for Lai Thieu mangosteen. According to the report, Lai Thieu mangosteen (Thuan An town) was held record Vietnam honored in the top 50 specialties of Vietnam famous fruit in August 2012. In 2013, Lai Thieu mangosteen is recognized by the National Office of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology collective mark.

For mangosteen in Thuan An town increasingly affirmed its name, in October 2017, six members of Agricultural Service Cooperative An Son was selected to pilot garden care in accordance with the VietGAP . On July 25, 2018, the FCC Inspection and Disinfection Joint Stock Company conducted a review and evaluation of a good agricultural practice system for the An Son Commune Agricultural Service Cooperative with an area of 7.75 ha. As a result, all six members of the cooperative participating in the model have met the VietGAP standard and were awarded the certificate.
