Late October 16, Mai The Trung, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of provincial People’s Committee and other provincial leaders received a delegation of leaders from the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang, led by Nguyen Thanh Son, Secretary of Kien Giang provincial Party Committee.
At the reception, Mr.Mai The Trung and Mr.Le Thanh Cung informed the delegation about Binh Duong’s achievements on socio-economic development over the past time, the province’s experience in investment attraction, planning and synchronous investment in infrastructure, trade promotion, especially the province’s experience in building and developing the VSIP model cooperated by Vietnam and Singapore.
Mr.Nguyen Thanh Son, Secretary of Kien Giang provincial Party Committee also wanted to learn about Binh Duong’s experience in socio-economic development, planning, infrastructure construction and investment attraction, especially the development of the VSIP model. He also mentioned the establishment of VSIP Phu Quoc during his recent meetings. In the coming time, Kien Giang will suggest the Government to set up a special group to study experience and forward the model.
