Leaders of Provincial People’s Committee in dialogue with Taiwanese enterprises

Early of September 19, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman, Mr. Le Thanh Cung had a meeting with representatives of Taiwanese enterprises to listen to and response to some obstacles and difficulties emerged during production and business operation in Binh Duong Province.At the meeting, the Taiwanese enterprises highly appreciated favorable investment conditions in Binh Duong Province; however, during business and production operations, many enterprises faced up some obstacles and difficulties for not grasping up administrative procedures on personal income tax levied on foreign employees, labor license registration, regulations of electricity saving,standards of environment protection, prolonged strikes, etc. As for requests from Taiwanese enterprises, leaders of tax agencies, electricity supplying station, Natural Resources and Environment Department, Industry and Trade Department, Binh Duong Industrial Park Authority, and Provincial Public Security responsed to the inquiries.Addressing the meeting, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung stressed on the fact that straight-forward proposals of the enterprises have promoted the authorities in removing obstacles for the enterprises. Mr. Le Thanh Cung also reminded participants of available policies of the state and government supporting enterprises in terms of tax grace and exemption.
