Overcoming the difficulties and challenges, the Binh Duong business community is growing stronger, showing its pioneering spirit, firmly in the integration and development and contributing positively to the process of development of the province.
Non-stop growing
Upholding and recognizing the role of entrepreneurship, on October 13, 1945 President Ho Chi Minh sent letter to Vietnamese businessmen encouraging them to participate in national salvation, helping to build the country and regain independence. In 2004, the Prime Minister decided to choose October 13 as Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day. Since then, the Vietnamese business community has grown rapidly in quantity and quality.

In 1997, the Binh Duong business community had only about 900 people, up to now it is more than 29,500. From 2010 to now, Binh Duong has attracted nearly 13,000 new domestic enterprises registered and supplemented with nearly VND 80,000 billion of investments in the province. From the beginning of the year, in response to the Prime Minister's call for start-up as well as continuing to benefit from the open and continuous investment environment of the province, Binh Duong has recognized the wave of strong investments from domestic enterprises. Specifically, Binh Duong has attracted more than VND 35,000 billion of registered business capital; including 4,040 newly registered enterprises and 759 enterprises adjusting for capital increase. At present, 29,504 domestic enterprises have registered with a total registered capital of VND 225.781 trillion dong.
Devotion and talent all out gathered for nation construction
It must be affirmed that, in the past years, leaders of Binh Duong province have been paying close attention to timely solving problems and obstacles for the business community; favorable conditions for business community and entrepreneurs in the area to develop sustainably are ensured; to ensure that each enterprise or businessman becomes a pacemaker and pioneer on the trade front; production and services are to supply the community. Therefore, Binh Duong has built a team of strong businessmen in a system of highly competitive enterprises, capable of rising up in the international market.
Tran Ngoc Chu, General Director of Hoa Sen Steel Joint Stock Company, said: "As an entrepreneur in the new era, we always focus on developing our skills and furthering our dedication to the development of the nation. Facing the new opportunities and challenges of enterprises and businessmen in the whole country, we believe that Binh Duong's businessmen are competent and capable to develop their businesses to increase profits and contribute more to the society. Binh Duong businessman has experience in integration process and would soon grasp the opportunities.”
Meanwhile, Phan Le Diem Trang, Director of International Garment Company expressed his determination: "Being a businessman, stepping into the market, we always improve our spirit of overcoming difficulties, driving the enterprise to success in production and business operations. I believe that many Binh Duong businessmen are very active and creative in the management to lead their businesses. I think that Binh Duong's business community will continue to grow strongly, contributing to the overall success of Binh Duong. "
That does not mean that the Binh Duong business community only receives incentives and many advantages in production and business operations. Not only harsh competition and pressure from many sides, Binh Duong has overtime also recognized the unpredictable risks to the business. Due to the downturn of the world economy, the consumption market of Binh Duong enterprises in particular and the national enterprises in general have been narrowed in the face of hiking raw material price. However, the Binh Duong business community with the enthusiastic and effective support from the government, the provincial People's Committee has led their business operations through its difficulties and challenges.
In the first nine months of 2017, Binh Duong's business team contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of the province and continued to grow steadily and maintain a good growth rate. Industrial production continued to develop stably; key industrial products, essentials for production and consumption have been maintained high growth rate; most of the enterprises in the province have received purchase orders til the end of 2017 and the first quarter of 2018.
In order to continue promoting the tradition and spirit of the local business community, in the coming time, enterprises will have to continuously improve their management and operation capabilities with focus on technological innovation and production process improvement to improve productivity, reduce production costs, lower production costs and improve competitiveness. At present, Binh Duong entrepreneurs have paid more attention to the cooperation and cohesion between enterprises in order to create strength in the development of production and business to integrate into the world. In addition, in the near time, the Binh Duong business community will have positive actions to support and help young entrepreneurs to successfully create larger and more quality population of enterprises.
