The Minister of Construction has held a video conference with 3 southern provinces, including Binh Duong, Dong Nai and An Giang, to grasp the situation in order to have solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, facilitate production and business, public investment, construction of infrastructure to meet local development goals. At this meeting, the Minister of Construction informed and answered questions of localities; the remaining comments were recorded to study and propose to the Government and the National Assembly to soon have solutions suitable to the actual situation of the localities.
After more than two years of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, business activities of enterprises in some localities showed signs of slowing down due to the disruption of both input and output supply chains. The difficulties of enterprises have continued to increase in recent years when the conflict between Russia - Ukraine is still ongoing and has not ended. One of the biggest difficulties of enterprises based in the province currently is the lack of orders, the lack of consumption markets and the lack of raw materials to continue production due to the impact of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. However, the number of enterprises developing new, increasing capital and expanding production and business in Binh Duong is still showing signs of improvement.
In order to meet the development needs of enterprises, thereby promoting production and business, provincial leaders and departments, branches and localities in the province have synchronously implemented many solutions. Accelerate disbursement of public investment capital to bring capital into the market; continue to build and develop infrastructure; administrative reform; supporting businesses to access capital are solutions that are implemented regularly. Recently, in the face of many enterprises facing difficulties in market output, provincial leaders directed relevant departments and agencies to coordinate with leading enterprises in the province to actively seek, connect, and help businesses expand their markets. Many conferences and exhibitions connecting businesses and markets have been opened, many businesses have found new partners from emerging and potential markets such as India, Africa and the Middle East.
Although many solutions have been synchronously implemented, but like other provinces and cities in the country, Binh Duong still has difficulties related to mechanisms and policies that need the participation of ministries, central agencies and the Government. Regional transport, planning adjustment, construction permitting, determination of financial obligations of enterprises related to land, etc. are issues that need the coordination of many sectors, and even have to be proposed to the Government to submit to the National Assembly for amendments and supplements of new regulations. Therefore, meetings to listen to opinions and recommendations from localities of central ministries and branches are essential, in order to promptly remove difficulties and help localities to continue developing. The online meeting between the Ministry of Construction and provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai and An Giang has taken place for that purpose.
