Live stock and poultries have long been the major food in Tet holiday. So as to manage quality of the products, Binh Duong veterinary authority has promote the monitoring.Live stock and poultries meat come from two sources: the farms and importation.

The intersector force is checking up foods stored by Swire Cold Storage Vietnam Co. Ltd. in Song Than I industrial park The authority has now conducted closed inspection right before the live stock is transported to slaughter houses. The inspection process will stay until the meat is put in stores. The producers have to inform veterinary forces of the destination addresses so as to ensure best inspection of goods before entering the market.As for importing source, the meat is usually stored in cool storehouses.In Binh Duong Province, 9 cool storehouses are servicing the storage of chicken, pork, and beef. When Tet is coming near, the product flow increases which require more inspection.So as to manage those sources well, Binh Duong Provincial veterinary authority has intensified checks-up of the storehouses.“We have informed them to procceed with releasing products in packs not seperately. We have also allocated forces to monitor and punish any breaches,” said Mr. Ta Trong Khang, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Department of Veterinary while responding to the quality maintenance of meat.Besides, the inter-sectoral inspection shall look deeper to the inventories of the enterprises supplying meat from cool storehouses.The leader recommends buyer to come to commercial centers to avoid bad quality products.Reported by Da Binh – Translated by Vi Bao
