In the early days of the new year, some local businesses launched production and business with new impetus. The earliest start was possibly from Hoa Sen Group. The group’s numerous workers registered to work during Tet holiday to meet local and foreign markets’ consumption demand.
Nguyen Minh Hoang, the group’s home affairs director, said “in the first working days of the new year, the group laborers enjoyed New Year’s wishes and lucky money in red envelops. With effort and high responsibility, the group will surely gain more success in the new year”.

M&C Company starts working on the fifth of the first lunar month
Routinely, on the fourth of the first lunar month all members of the Binh Duong Material and Construction Company (M&C) gather to enjoy an early-year get-together and after that they start working on the fifth of the first lunar month.
To excel goals of production and business, workgroup of the company targets to win a turnover of VND717.8bil, profit of VND209bil in the new year. Mai Van Chanh, general director of the company, said “Since its inception, M&C Company always follows Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples of abolishing superstitions”.
To complete the mentioned goals, the company directorate will focus on implementing tasks of investment and development in a bid to perfect works of Tan Phuoc Khanh trade area, Long Nguyen brick factory, Binh An residential area, DT743 Road, Hoa An residential area and so on, added he.
Banks start working early to meet clients’ demand
On the sixth of the first lunar month, some local banks including BIDV, Sacombank, Techcombank… started working. Sacombank Binh Duong vice director said that Sacombank routinely starts working on the sixth of the first lunar month to meet clients’ demand on transaction better. Meanwhile, BIDV Binh Duong director Tran Thi Dung, shared “though the first working day falls on Saturday, we still work to cater for clients’ demand better”.
In the first working day of the new year, local banks’ employees were busy with transactions and payments and money transfers according to clients’ demand. At ten o’clock of the same day Sacombank Binh Duong won over VND10bil from clients’ deposits. This was a joyful signal in the early new year.
