The Executive Board of provincial Cooperative Alliance for the 2016-2020 tenure, on June 27, held its 6th session; partially summed up activities of the unit in the first half of 2018 and defined orientations, tasks for the rest of the year.
Since early this year, the province has set up additional 16 cooperatives, beyond 14.2% of the year’s plan, with 114 members and total charter capital of VND48.7billion. The province has so far had 142 cooperatives, people’s credit funds with 55,284 members and total charter capital of more than VND721.4billion.
The operation of province-based cooperatives and people’s credit funds over the past six month went on smoothness with total revenue estimated at more than VND785.4billion or 46% of the year’s plan. There were 80 cooperatives and people’s credit funds making their tax obligation with more than VND11.64billion, contributing to generating jobs for local laborers with the average income of between VND5.5million and VND6million per capital per month.
For the rest of the year, provincial Cooperative Alliance will further strive to to fulfill 2018’s targets on collective economic development; strengthen consultancy and support for cooperatives in accordance with the current policies…
