On May 9, provincial People’s Committee held a conference to review the 15-year implementation of the Resolution No.13-NQ/TW dated March 18, 2002 of the 9th Party Central’s 5th session on further renewing, developing and improving the efficiency of the collective economy.
The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
After 15 years of implementing the Resolution No.13-NQ/TW, the province’s collective economy has made strong changes in both content, form and obtained initial results, actively contributing to the local socio-economic development.
The whole province is now home to 139 cooperative groups with 1.423 members and total capital of VND78,2billion; 159 cooperatives, People’s Credit Funds with 55,494 members and charter capital of more than VND770.7billion. So far, 100% of province-based cooperatives have worked under the Cooperative Law in 2012. Most of them have taken fruits in production-business; well fulfilled their tax obligation…
Speaking at the conference, Mr.Thao spoke highly of achievements done by the local collective economy after 15 years of realizing the Resolution No.13-NQ/TW. He also asked for provincial Cooperative Alliance to fulfill a report based on contributive ideas by participating delegates and submit it into provincial Steering Board of Collective Economic Improvement and Development; develop cooperatives in association with value chains, support cooperatives in trade promotion and market expansion; strengthen State administration over collective economy; strengthen the apparatus of provincial Steering Board of Collective Economic Improvement and Development and its branches.
