Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee made the statement at a conference reviewing provincial Cooperative Alliance’s activities in the first half of 2014 and define its key tasks for the rest for the year held yesterday, July 4.
Mr.Liem spoke highly of achievements done by provincial Cooperative Alliance over the past time while emphasizing that the province would create favorable conditions for the local cooperatives to get access to the State’s preferential loans. To him, provincial Cooperative Alliance must support cooperatives to make plans to borrow capital, step by step removing difficulties and building up a sustainable collective economic model.
The whole province is now home to 123 cooperatives with 53,281 members. Of these, there are 25 cooperatives on transportation, 24 cooperatives on agricultural production, 16 cooperatives on home industry, 14 cooperatives on construction, 34 cooperatives on trade and 10 people’s credit funds…
