On May 19, lively ambience of production took place across industrial parks such as VSIP, My Phuoc, Dong An, Nam Tan Uyen and so on after several days of demonstration held by a group of people. According to the provincial industrial parks’ management board, 100% of local industrial parks-based companies returned production and business.

At VSIP I in Thuan An town, we witness ordinary production and business at enterprises. On the main roads leading to industrial parks is image of workers busily going to factories. At Kingmaker Co.Ltd. specializing in apparel production and business, as many as 8,000 workers among 9,300 laborers on May 19 went to the company for work. Meanwhile, tens of other companies improved consequences and returned production and business on the same day. As statistics of VSIP Joint Venture Company Limited – the investor of VSIP, on May 19 most of the enterprises recovered their production and business. 166 companies at VSIP 1 and 103 others at VSIP 2 returned their production and business like ordinary days.
In the meantime, enterprises’ operation at My Phuoc industrial parks in Ben Cat town also returned like ordinary days. 3,900 among 4,500 workers of Kaiser Co.Ltd. specializing in wood production at My Phuoc 1 IP on May 19 returned their work. Overall, the company’s working ambience took place normally. Kaiser Co.Ltd. director Luo QIang Jun said that after the protest-turned-riots, the company rapidly improved consequences and took care well of laborers’ legitimate rights and interests.
Meanwhile, other companies began their production and business. Chung Buu Long, general director of Becamex ISC said that on May 19 more than 95% of enterprises at My Phuoc industrial parks recovered their production and business. Thanks to assistance of the provincial administration and Becamex IDC plus efforts of the affected companies and laborers, 100% of companies at My Phuoc industrial parks came back their ordinary operation.
Numerous workers returned their work on May 19.
Reportedly, on May 19 all companies at industrial parks in the province returned their operation. At Nam Tan Uyen industrial park in Tan Uyen town, Nguyen Quan Si, secretary of Nam Tan Uyen industrial park JSC said that there were 30 companies affected by the protest-turned-riots and until now they improve consequences. At Dong An IP after improvement, many businesses such as Yang Cheng Vietnam, Bowker Vietnam and so on came back their operation. In total, there were Dong An 1 and 2 IPs-based 44 among 49 companies affected by the demonstration completed improvement of consequences.
Thanks to encouragement and assistance of the provincial administration, after a short time many businesses affected by the demonstration returned operation. In order to help businesses feel secure in production and business, local functional agencies have implemented many measures to help them. At present, the local administration has asked the provincial industrial parks’ management board to help the affected businesses and considered to extend and reduce tax as well as support preferential loans for them. In this week, the provincial leaders and functional agencies will meet investors to share, encourage and announce supportive measures in details.
In order to help businesses improve consequences after the past protest-turned-riots, the Ministry of Finance just asked the provincial department of Finance in cooperation with local agencies and units to launch timely and synchronously measures to ensure production and business of companies as well as to support laborers during the past days-off.
The Ministry of Finance also requested the provincial Tax Bureau head, the provincial Customs Bureau head to grasp information and urgently launch measures of helping the affected businesses.
