Provincial People’s Committee yesterday convened its periodic session in October, 2017. Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee chaired the session.
Reportedly, the province’s industrial production value in October, 2017 surged 6.8% and 16.8% compared to the previous month and the same period last year, respectively. The province’s value of trade and services was more than VND14trillion, up 0.6%. Noticeably, the province’s export turnover reached US$2.6billion.
Also during the period, the province absorbed VND2.92trillion and US$227million in FDI capital. The province continued obtaining positive changes in socio-cultural fields, national defence-security; paid more attention to eradicating hunger and reducing poverty, taking care of revolutionary contributors…
Speaking at the session, Mr.Liem asked for sectors and departments to strengthen State administration, support and promote production-business. Relevant agencies also need to boost “paying debt of gratitude” activities, ensuring social welfare, especially policies for policy beneficiaries on the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018.
