Local IPs-based enterprises operate stably

In the first quarter of 2024, the production and business activities of enterprises in province-based industrial parks (IPs) were stable and grew up. Accordingly, the local IPs continued implementing investment procedures in the planned ones. It was estimated that the production and business targets of enterprises in the local IPs in the first 3 months of 2024 increased. As a result, in the first quarter, the revenue of enterprises in the local IPs reached more than US$10,287 million, an increase of 11.41% over the same period and or 29.39% of the year’s plan. Their export turnover obtained US$5.883 million, up 11.14% over the same period and or 26.74% of the year’s plan. Their import value was US$ 5.767 million, up 10.41% over the same period and or 28.83% of the year’s plan. They also paid US$ 159.799 million for State budget, an increase of 13.92% over the same period and or 30.73% of the year's plan.

Currently, enterprises and investors in the local IPs are trying to overcome new challenges, finding opportunities in difficulties and having breakthrough solutions. With many positive and effective solutions, businesses in general and the ones in the local IPs in particular have still maintained the rhythm of production and business, creating added value for their products, contributing to the local overall growth.
