On the afternoon of January 28, provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) reviewed its activities in 2018 and implemented tasks for 2019, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Reportedly, the province’s export turnover last year was VND2.28billion. The province’s industrial production surged 9.97% compared to the same period last year while total retail sales revenue of commodities and services saw a 18% growth against the corresponding period…The “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign also continued being promoted and reached positive results. In 2019, provincial DoIT has set some major targets, including gaining the growth of 9.5%, 18%, 15/5% in terms of index of industrial production, total retail revenue, export turnover…
Addressing the event, Mr.Dung acknowledged the efforts by the local sector of industry-trade last year while suggesting the sector to focus on investment attraction programs, accelerate support for businesses attaching special importance to improving technologies, competitiveness…
On this occasion, Nguyen Van Danh, Director of provincial DoIT and Le Khac Thoi, Inspector General of provincial DoIT were awarded the second-class Labor Medal and the third-class Labor Medal, respectively. Many collectives and individuals were also presented the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee and provincial DoIT for their excellent performance last year.
