In a bid to ensure traffic safety, provincial Trade Unions at all levels since early this year have made dissemination of information about the contents of the Law on Road Traffic, the Government’s Decree No.71 on ensuring traffic safety among laborers; organized a competition on the Law on Road Traffic; given a report on serious traffic accidents to heighten laborers’ vigilance…
They have also popularized the Law on Road Traffic in association with their activities; teamed up with the local functional agencies to speed up propaganda activities on traffic safety by many forms, including delivering relevant documents, leaflets and posters to State agencies and lodging facilities for laborers. Provincial Labor Union has delivered more than 18,000 propaganda leaflets and posters on traffic safety to laborers.
On the occasion of the 2013 Workers’ Month, provincial Labor Union instructed Trade Unions at all levels to coordinate with employers to promote propaganda work on traffic safety among young workers. Province-based enterprises well realized the propaganda work and gave financial support for trade union locals to present helmets to laborers, contributing to minimizing their damages when unluckily facing traffic accidents.
