During its process of development, Binh Duong always excels its goals. To cater for goal of sustainable development, Binh Duong has launched building of Binh Duong New City.
To develop Binh Duong sustainably, the local administration has set focus on urban development, of which building of new city is an essential requirement. Therefore, a 1,000ha project of Binh Duong New City has become true. Based on the detailed planning, the new city includes main items such the Integrated Political and Admin Center, Convention, international exhibition, hi-tech area, Eastern International University, trade center and so on to cater for 125,000 residents and over 400,000 employees.
Along with industrial development, Binh Duong has built and developed infrastructure facilities synchronously to create a balance on sustainable economic development. Accordingly, Binh Duong New City has turned Binh Duong province into an industrial and modern city in the future. With the project, to create a synchrony on management, construction and development, Binh Duong invited famous architects to design big works.

In reality, construction of Binh Duong New City is to meet goal of sustainable development. On average, Binh Duong reaches a 30-40% increase in industrial growth, and over 15% in GDP per year. In addition, Binh Duong New City has a crucial strategic position, linking the Southern key economic zone with central highlands region.
After of 2 years of construction, New City of Binh Duong has emerged gradually. Herein, the Eastern International University has put into operation whilst an international school invested by Kinderworld Education Group is under completion and numerous other works. Additionally, hi-grade apartments for experts have welcomed new residents and financial centers, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets are under completion.

Notably, the Integrated Political and Admin Center at the new city was started on Nov. 19, 2010. This will be a workplace for cadres and public servants of party cells, authorities. The center’s progress has been hastened to put into operation by 2013.
The new city will be soon a modern city of the Southern key economic zone. Therefore, the provincial party committee and authority have focused all sources on the new city project.
