Make connection to grow

With the participation of nearly 1,000 booths, more than 100 leading domestic and international enterprises, Binh Duong International Wood Materials and Machinery Fair - BIFA Wood Vietnam 2023 (taking place from 9 to 12 August) ) is expected to be a bridge connecting Binh Duong wood enterprises with domestic and foreign partners. This is an annual fair to help Binh Duong wood processing enterprises strengthen trade promotion, product promotion, exchange of experience, seize investment opportunities, expand markets, enter into joint ventures, and transfer technology to improve efficiency in production and business.

BIFA Wood Vietnam 2023 displays and introduces furniture, machinery and advanced technology in the wood processing industry with 3 main product groups, including: Industrial machinery and equipment for wood processing; accessories and materials for the wood industry, wood processing, imported wood materials; furniture products of domestic and foreign manufacturing, processing and processing enterprises. The purpose of the fair is to create a bridge connecting Binh Duong wood enterprises with domestic and foreign partners in order to improve production and business capacity through accessing, equipping new technologies, promoting products and joint ventures to expand the market…

With more than 5,400 enterprises investing in the field of wood production and processing, Vietnam's wood products are now present in the markets of more than 140 countries and territories, bringing Vietnam to be the fifth in the world, second in Asia and first in Southeast Asia in terms of wood export turnover. Binh Duong is known as the capital of Vietnam's wood processing and manufacturing industry with more than 1,200 businesses investing in this field with export turnover accounting for about 40% of the country's total wood export turnover. However, this figure of Vietnam only accounts for 6% of the global wood product market share, so the wood industry still has a lot of room for development.

Implementing Decision No. 327/QD-TTg dated March 10, 2022 of the Prime Minister on the development of a sustainable and effective wood processing industry in the 2021-2030 period, the Provincial People's Committee has also approved the Development Project developing the wood processing industry in Binh Duong province to 2025, with orientation to 2030. According to the scheme, by 2025, the province's wood export turnover will reach 9-10 billion USD; By 2030, it will reach 12-13 billion USD. Over the years, Binh Duong has also implemented many solutions to turn the wood processing industry into an important economic sector. Transfer of wood production and processing technology; building and developing brands of wood products; creating conditions for wood production and processing enterprises in the province to promote joint ventures and association with domestic and foreign enterprises in the same industry are solutions that Binh Duong has been persistently implementing.

The annual Binh Duong International Wood Materials and Machinery Fair is a specific activity to help Binh Duong wood processing and manufacturing industry in particular and Vietnam in general continue to develop, reach the goal of wood export turnover of 20 billion USD by 2025.
