Phong Phu long pepper salt workshop is located at 67/8 Huynh Van Luy Road, quarter 3, Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot town. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, the workshop’s owner said that he involving in this job is thanks to his destiny. After unexpectedly witnessing pepper salt maker’s loved products in Tan Uyen district, he determined to research and make the product.
At that time, his family faced many difficulties, so his friends lent him a coffee grinder to grind pepper salt. In the first days, his long pepper salt shakers were granted to neighbors to collect their ideas. After 3 months of patience, in 1998 he launched his products to the market with a large quantity. Thanks to his products’ quality, Phong Phu long pepper salt products are loved by customers.
After winning a large number of clients, Tuan started thinking of occupation of market share. To increase quantity and improve quality of products, he invested more capital in production facilities. In addition, he renovated his facilities by his own to decline labor.
Standing steady on market
Over the past 13 years, Tuan has ensured his prestige and listened to clients’ ideas as well as food safety and hygiene. He added that he is both a producer and distributor, so he has grasped market’s demand. At present, aside from Binh Duong market, his products have appeared across HCMC, Long An, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and so on.
At present, Phong Phu long pepper salt shakers are priced at VND2.800-3,000 per pot. On average, he reaps about VND100mil from products.
