Based on the plan on market stability, essential items serving for customers before, during and after Tet 2014 will include foodstuff, processing food, fresh food such as rice, glutinous rice, sugar, cooking oil, poultry, cattle products, beverage, confectionary, locally-made medicines and many more with the total value of more than 612.6bil, excluding petrol and oil.
As many as 12 businesses will join in the market stability program. They consist of Dong Hung Trade and Service Co.Ltd. (Citimart) with the goods volume worth VND95.3bil; Sai Gon – Binh Duong Trade and Service Co.Ltd. (Co.op Mart) VND114.8bil; Thanh Le Company, VND55bil; Vietnam Fashion One-member Co.Ltd. (Vinatex), VND53.8bil; TDM Investment, Service and Trade JSC, VND63bil; EB Binh Duong Co.Ltd., VND181.59bil (Big C Binh Duong, VND90.16bil and Big C Di An, VND91.43bil); Investment and Service Consultancy JSC, VND177.5mil; Pham Ton Co.Ltd., VND11.25bil; Ba Huan Co.Ltd., VND12.97bil; Tien Hung Co.Ltd., VND5.6bil; Binh Duong Trade and Tourism JSC, VND15bil and Vissan Binh Duong food shop, VND4.08bil.
In addition to selling commodities with stabilized prices at supermarkets, the provincial People’s Committee’s plan is to assign tasks for businesses participating in the program to hold mobile goods selling trips across rural communes and industrial parks and compounds.
Specifically, Investment and Service Consultancy Company will hold 11 goods selling locations at Number One mini supermarket chains across industrial parks whilst other businesses will organize 82 locations and 18 market-days across localities.
In addition, companies such as Pham Ton Co.Ltd. and Big C Binh Duong will hold mobile goods selling locations across rural communes and industrial parks.
In order to launch effectively the program before, during and after Tet 2014, the provincial People’s Committee steers and asks relevant departments, agencies, People’s Commitees at all levels and businesses to implement the plans on time.
Petrol and oil items alone, Thanh Le Company and Song Be Petrol and Oil Company will ensure adequate supply of petrol and oil for all systems in the locality with the expected increase of 10-12% compared with the previous year.
