Many collective economic units reinforced and paid much attention to improving production and business for the sake of effective operation. In the past year, the province had 16 more newly-established cooperatives, totaling cooperatives up to 111 with 48,408 members.
The cooperatives won VND595.45bil in chartered capital, over VND1,8tril in mobilized capital and over VND1,400bil in turnover. The cooperatives related to handicraft, trade-service, transport and people’s credit fields won high results.
Some cooperatives involving in rural road making and civil construction have contributed to place jobs and increase income for members and laborers…
Tran Van Luc, chairman of the provincial Cooperatives’ Alliance, said models of transport, construction, trade-service, people’s credit fund cooperatives have brought high results, placing jobs for laborers and reinforcing community’s responsibility.
Doan Van Huan, chairman of Phuoc Hoa People’s Credit Fund in Phuoc Hoa commune, Phu Giao district, said “Drawing experiences from the previous years, we are cautious in forecasting the market and State Bank’s interest rates to set timely out proper lending and deposit interest rates. Moreover, we launch one-door transaction to shrink time for clients”.
Production linkage helped many cooperatives and teams overcome difficulties and win high results. Tran Van Bien from Phuoc Sang agriculture cooperative in Phu Giao district, said “In the past year some units faced difficulties in output of rubber nurslings. However, our cooperative still enjoyed a stable output, thanks to close cooperation between rubber plantations and other units. Many big contracts were implemented”.
Nguyen Van Dien, vice head of Thanh Long Cooperative in Ben Cat district, said “Thanks to good cooperation with units, we have many contracts to ensure income for members”.
Though there are many shortcomings of equipments, human resources and capital sources…, with good cooperation the collective economic units’ operation will have many new positive changes in the coming time.
