On Oct. 31, the provincial Taxation Bureau held a conference to honor typical local organizations and individuals that well implemented work on tax in the past year.

According to experts, despite market change, price hike, many enterprises overcome difficulties to develop their production and business as well as well complete their obligation of tax.
Well obeying obligation of tax payment
Looking at the number of 315 enterprises and typical individuals honored at the conference, we can realize adequate attendance of economic sectors from the State-run enterprises to foreign companies, households. These units are typical and lively examples for enterprise and entrepreneur community to create sustainable development.
Nguyen Thi Kim Nen, vice general director of Binh Duong Import, Export and Forestry Products Company (GENIMEX) said that 2013 was a very difficult year for business community. However, with business orientations and policies of administration reform on tax as well as timely supports for tax-payers, business efficiency of companies increases constantly, improving income for laborers and contributing greatly to the State budget.
“I hope that in the coming time tax sector will continue to set out breakthrough reforms to help business community enjoy more favorable conditions in production and business”, Nen said.
Aside from familiar faces of organizations and businesses, there were many new faces of business households in remote areas such as Phu Giao, Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen and more.
Le Van Trang, head of the provincial Tax Bureau said that 2013 had much complication of the world and regional economy, impacting badly on domestic economy. This impacted on operation of businesses, organizations and individuals, making production and business face many obstacles.
However, with great efforts, local enterprises and individuals mobilize all sources to maintain and develop production. More importantly, their awareness on tax payment is improved significantly. In the past year, the provincial tax sector collected more than VND19tril, winning over 98% of estimated ratified by the provincial People’s Council and equaling 115.7% compared with the same period last year. This was an encouraging result.
Tax work modernized
At the conference, many ideas said that the province has many tax payment organizations and individuals enjoying tariff of 0% or preferential policies of tax. These tax payment organizations and individuals create a large volume of high valued products and numerous jobs as well as contribute greatly to social welfare.
Addressing the conference, Nguyen Dinh Duong, rep of the Southern Tax General Bureau’s Office highly appreciated local enterprises’ efforts, especially 315 honored organizations and individuals. He noted that enterprises should continue to enhance execution of tax regulations and say not to violations of business and tax payment.
In term of tax orientation in the coming time, Duong said that aside from tasks of budget collection, the local tax sector should continue to reform administration procedures and modernize management of tax work as well as set out detailed measures to help businesses stabilize their production and business.
