Early December 14, provincial People's Committee held the Indian trade promotion conference 2022. Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city co-chaired the conference, which was held in person and online, with the participation of representatives of 20 Indian enterprises, enterprises and industries’ associations of Binh Duong province.
The Indian trade promotion conference 2022 is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to directly connect with 20 Indian ones operating in a variety of fields (agriculture, furniture, pharmaceuticals, textile-garment, steel, packaging…) in order to expand the international market, promote the strong economic potential of enterprises and contribute to the economic development of the two countries.
Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi spoke highly of Binh Duong with advantages in terms of favorable geographical position for investment in building up a modern and synchronous traffic infrastructure system. He also said that with the rapid development of industry and trade - services, Binh Duong has created a strong driving force for Binh Duong to rise up and become one of the country’s leading provinces in industrial and urban development. These are very good conditions for Indian enterprises to promote investment and development cooperation with Binh Duong province.
At the conference, representatives of the province’s leading industries and enterprises in wood processing, textile-garment, agriculture, renewable energy... introduced their advantages and potential to Indian enterprises; met, exchanged and learnt to have an effective cooperation and investment direction in the coming time.
The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between WTC Shamshambad, the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Industrial Development and the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City also took place on this occasion.
