Phu Giao district has made efforts to complete 2014’s key works with quality ensured at locals’ demand, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.
Satisfying real demand
Phu Giao district’s plan on investment capital for basic construction in 2014 is more than VND139.912bln. As of late November, total volume of works implemented was worth VND312.482bln or 223.34% of the plan. Total value of capital disbursed was VND128.842bln or 92.09% of the plan.

Nguyen Chi Hieu, Director of Phu Giao district’s Projects Management Board said that many key works have been carried out and completed earlier than planned. This result has came from the integral efforts by the local authorities at all levels and people.

Mr.Hieu added that leaders of district have also paid more attention to health and education fields. Hence, works for the two fields have been strongly invested, well meeting the local demand for learning, medical examination and treatment.
Works’ quality ensured
Phu Giao district has also attached special importance to the quality of works. Particularly, according to Mr.Hieu, the district has applied standards of the Ministry of Construction when carrying out the local works; taken initiative in setting investment procedures; invited consulting units that are competent and have a high sense of responsibility...
It is expected that the district’s Projects Management Board will begin working out 2015’s works in early January, 2015.
2015 is the final year to fulfill the Resolution of the 3rd Congress of the district’s Party Committee for the 2010-2015 period. Therefore, it is of great significance for the district in realizing the local targets on socio-economic development between 2011 and 2015. Based on many elements, the district has set 2015’s main tasks on basic construction, comprising of focusing on instructing the implementation of works on schedule; ensuring the effective use of capital investment; soon putting works into use
