During Q1-2020, provincial Market Management Department strengthened supervision of food pollution in the province, especially in conventional markets. Accordingly, Market Management force at districts, towns and cities bought 136 food samples in the province and sent to Sac Ky Eurofins Company for testing. The result had 12 samples to be below standard.
To examine food pollution at markets, Market Management forces quickly tested 580 food samples, such as noodles, bologna, beef balls, pickles, rice noodles, fresh rice noodles, rice flan... The result had 59 positive samples. The cross-sectional inspection group encouraged businesses to voluntarily destroy all infringing products on food safety and required to make a commitment.
In the coming time, this force will continue to carry out food safety inspection and control in order to help changing behaviors of residents, preventing food poisoning in collective kitchens, banquets, family meals.
